When two people are in the same general area, they can see each other when it’s convenient. That convenience is a little harder to come by when you’re dating over the internet.

Communication can be made more complicated with unstable internet connections or low-quality devices. But if a girl makes it a point to communicate regularly with you, then it’s a pretty good sign that she likes you.

2. She laughs at your jokes

Dancing is pretty important in the culture of Colombia. But it’s not just something that’s relegated to tradition. It's also something that’s actively celebrated. People in Colombia, including Colombian women, love to dance, not just as part of their culture but also because it’s how a lot of them like to unwind and have fun.

5. She doesn’t ask for much or doesn’t want to

One thing that a lot of guys have to be wary about if they’re dating someone they met on the internet is a gold-digger. Older men with financial means are a prime target for a gold-digger. Even a guy who’s solidly middle-class is still going to look rich to someone who comes from a poor background.

If you’re dating a Colombian woman and she’s always asking for this and that, always asking you to send her money because she needs it for one thing or another, then there’s a good chance that she’s only in the relationship for your wallet.

But there are times when one person in a relationship is going to need financial assistance from the other. If she turns to you and it visibly pains her to have to ask, then chances are that while your wallet is a bonus, it’s the man the wallet comes with that she wants.

6. She wants you to meet her family

Family is going to be important to Colombian women. In fact, it’s an important facet of cultures all over Latin America and the world at large. It’s a pretty big deal if a Colombian woman wants you to meet her family.

This is because they want to get their opinions of you. She wants to be with you for the long haul and she wants her family to approve of you and her choice to be with you. She’s going to take you to her family so they can subtly assess you and decide if you’re good enough for their daughter.

If she does take you to meet her family, then you need to be on your best behavior because if they disapprove of you, then they can veto her choice.

7. She openly talks about the possibility of a future with you

This is a pretty obvious sign that she’s into you. If she talks about the future in concrete terms and not in the abstract, then it’s a good sign that she wants to be with you not just for the long haul but for the longest of long hauls.

A lot of men want to find love. The trouble is that love is hard to find, so hard that when men do find it, they don’t recognize it. This can lead to letting a good thing slip away because you didn’t see what it was.
